Plum Jam (Second type)

Ingredients

70 pcs plums
1 kg sugar
750 ml water
1 coffee spoon citric acid

Preparation

Wash thoroughly the plums and remove the stones.

Put the cleaned plums in lime water for about two hours. Then wash them thoroughly with water.

Boil syrup from the sugar and water until thickening. When the mixture thickens, remove from the fire and add the plums to it. Allow the fruit to soak some of the syrup, and then put mixture back in fire. Boil to thicken the syrup. Five minutes before removing from fire, add citric acid. Pour into jars and close while hot.

Turn the jars upside down to get vacuum.
