And the before last day is gone of the Bulgarian Plum Festival. Full of excitement and joy. Early in the morning we visited the “Institute of mountain agriculture and animal breeding”, where we learned a lot about different types of plants that are grown year-round in the locality. Interesting and unusual from the sour fruit “Himeles” to the cutest plan on earth. We also saw the recently patented fruit and fungi drying-oven, developed in the most ecological possible way – works only with sunlight. We could have rest for a moment among the beautiful nature with a glass of home made aronia juice and taste different kinds of dried fruits.

In the afternoon “AVON” revealed us many facts about breast cancer in hall “Forum” at the Community Center “Nauka 1870”. At the evening lovely girls from different ensembles at Community Center “Nauka 1901”, town of Yablanitsa, vocal studio “Usmivka” and dance studio “Bordo” entertained us with dancing and singing. Residents and guest of Troyan were delighted with their incredible performance.

We are waiting for a lot of surprises and events during the final day of the Bulgarian Plum Festival. We shall distil brandy and conduct the culinary competitions for main dish and plum dessert, and after that we are going to take a look what is happening with the most important events from the Festival’s programme - the competition for best plum brandy and for best appetizer. Then we will watch the dance – theatre programme in three parts. At 17pm we will reward all of the contestants and crown the Troyan Male and Female Master. At 18:45 we shall draw the prize in the lottery of Bulgarian Plum Festival. And finally we will see Angel and Moses on the stage.
